It's been a little while since my last blog update. I have been very busy designing and making new pieces as well as working on commissions. My new range focuses on the theme of contrast, not only in colour but shape and perspective. I am also beginning to use precious and non-precious stones in my work, look out for sneak peaks soon!

Remember if you would like more weekly updates I also have Twitter. Follow me @CatHendy!

I am currently exhibiting my work at the Leeds Craft Centre and Design Gallery. The gallery runs different exhibitions throughout the year and aims to promote the very best in contemporary British Craft: handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, applied art and limited edition prints.  The gallery is also a registered charity running various workshops, demonstrations and lectures for designer makers. My work is on show for a 3 month period between the 5th May-31st July 2013, so please go check it out!!!

New Stockist and a Happy New Year!

@Work Brick Lane

@Work Pimlico

Hello everyone! Very late saying it but Happy New Year!

Bit of an update about my work. I am now stocking my jewellery at @Work Pimlico. @Work Brick Lane was my first stockist just over a year ago, as my work has been selling well at the Brick Lane branch I was asked to supply the other shop. The @work galleries are contemporary jewellery galleries that specialise in selling hand-made, original and quirky pieces of jewellery.  There is a wide variation of work on display from emerging and established designers, using a vast range of materials from precious metals to wood and fabric.

I have quite a few new pieces in the pipe line as well as some exhibition news, so please come back soon for an update!
